Prince Adekunle Eniola Bada (AEB) and Mr Ayoyinka Adebola Ogbe, the due aspiring for the Ikorodu Constituency I seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly, appeared to now have their focus on the forthcoming primary elections of their party, All Progressives Congress (APC), after scaling the screening hurdles.
Both appeared before the screening panel on Sunday at the State Secretariat of the APC at ACME, Ikeja.
Speaking shortly after the exercise, AEB expressed profound gratitude to Almighty God, party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and members of the APC family across Ikorodu for their encouragement, trust, and steadfast support throughout the process.

He reaffirmed his dedication to the ideals of the All Progressives Congress and pledged to continue engaging with constituents in pursuit of a more prosperous, inclusive, and development-driven Ikorodu.

AEB further called on the party faithful and supporters to remain united, peaceful, and committed to the collective vision of building a greater Ikorodu through responsive representation and impactful leadership.
Also speaking with THE IMPACT, Mr Ayoyinka Ogbe, said that the screening was detailed and described it as a wonderful experience.

“The screening went well, they engaged me on family lineage, my experience in the House of Assembly as a legislative officer and my committee activities and also, my experiences as Governance and Financial Advisor in Canada
“I also presented them with my credentials which were checked and seen as all up to date.
“All said and done, the committee gives credence to my time in the House of Assembly.
“The committee made up of Commissioners, Special Advisers and party leaders was well detailed. It was a wonderful experience,” he said

After the screening, Ogbe said that his focus has been shifted to the party stakeholders and members whom he said he has confidence in to give him their mandate as the APC flag bearer.
“My experience is for the card -carrying members of the party to speak through their votes and vote for me. I have confidence in the party members that they are going to do justice to their votes and mandate
“However, we are expecting the party’s guidelines for the primary elections and we are meeting with the party hierarchy,” Ogbe said.
